Most of you, probably have an account with Myspace, Facebook or Bebo. These are 3 biggest social-networking websites in the world. So I thought, I’ll gather some info about them: how much they are worth, how many users they have, what traffic they generate and some other general information. Happy reading ;)

MySpace is a popular social networking website offering an interactive, user-submitted network of friends, personal profiles, blogs, groups, photos, music and videos for teenagers and adults internationally. Its headquarters are in Beverly Hills, California, USA, where it shares an office building with its immediate owner, Fox Interactive Media; which is owned by News Corporation, which has its headquarters in New York City. Bebo, a backronym for “Blog early, blog often”, is an online social media network similar in format to MySpace, Xanga, Facebook, and Yahoo! 360. The site was founded in January 2005 by husband and wife team Michael and Xochi Birch. According to Hitwise, Bebo is the third most popular social networking website. Bebo is officially the largest social networking site in the UK, Ireland, and New Zealand, and is the third largest social networking site in the US behind only MySpace and Facebook.

In the UK, Bebo is the most searched-for brand (ahead of eBay and Facebook) and has enormous brand equity.
