Blog Report #1: May 2008
So we are at the end of our first month of our project and it‘s time to summarize what we did and how much we have improved. It has to be said that last month and following two weeks are quite busy for us: finals at university require more time than we have expected. So our Million dollar plan develops quite slowly. Despite all this, we managed to get few steps ahead. So what we did in May?
80 comments were written in “make money online” niche websites
This may sound crazy but it really helps your blog in rankings. Google and Technorati rankings increased more than we’ve expected and all this just from commenting other blogs. If you want to quickly increase Technorati rankings I recommend leaving quite a few comments on blogs that have TopCommentator plugin installed. That really helps. OK, this directory listing, as many seo experts say is essential to your website. It helps you to get better ranking in google and that means more traffic. You have to do it regularly and sometimes it gets very hard because you don’t see any results. But people talk that it’s a must do, so we keep on listing our blog.
Technorati ranking has increased from 2,461,872 (1st May) to 433,411 (31st May).
As I said before this was done by commenting other blogs. And it was only a little over 80 comments written. In June we will try to get our blog into the first 100.000 on Technorati.
Traffic Report
There is not much to say about our traffic. Google started showing us only in mid May. So basically all our visitors came from comments or message board posts. For June we have a goal to reach 1500 visitors.
